Ceramic Coatings in Farmington, Davis County.

A ceramic coating is an excellent investment for protecting your vehicle, offering both exceptional visual appeal and practical benefits. The enhanced gloss and clarity alone make it worthwhile, but the real advantage becomes evident during cleaning. Ceramic coatings excel at repelling water, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap, allowing these contaminants to slide off effortlessly. As a result, your car will remain clean and shiny with minimal effort, demonstrating the value of your investment both visibly and tangibly. We offer several pricing options based on the extent of coverage you choose. You can opt to coat just the paint, or extend the protection to the windshield, wheel faces, and plastic trim with specialized ceramic coatings for those areas. The choice is yours to tailor the protection to your needs.

What is a ceramic coating?

A ceramic coating is a permanent paint protection liquid that dries to a rock-hard surface on your vehicle. Ceramic coatings are a silica-based product and not made from natural waxes like carnauba. Ceramic coatings are extremely hard and once cured they are permanently bonded to the vehicle’s surface until they ultimately wear down or are mechanically removed. Traditional waxes and paint sealants are easy ways to keep your vehicle looking shiny and protected for a few months but ceramic coatings can last many years.

What are the benefits of ceramic coatings?

Ceramic coatings have many benefits over traditional car waxes and paint sealants. Some of the main characteristics that make them superior are their longevity, self-cleaning properties, resistance to environmental contaminants, and they are easier to clean.

Ceramic coatings are great for vehicles in the state of Utah because they can handle the wild swings in weather much better than wax. Our environment has rain, snow, salt, and everything in between and ceramic coatings are great for UV protection and preventing contamination from the elements. Acid rain and road salt and grime have a tougher time bonding to the coating which makes it easier to clean. The self-cleaning properties of ceramic coatings really mean that things cannot stick to it so even a rain shower can basically wash your vehicle off for you instead of pooling up and sticking to your car’s paint, glass, or chrome.

Traditional waxes really can make a vehicle’s surface pop but they lack durability and protection and only last a month or two in our area. New paint sealants can last longer but still need to be applied every 4-6 months to maintain them. This is where ceramic coatings shine because ceramic coatings that we use can last anywhere from 3 years to 5 years!

Maintaining your Ceramic Coating.

If you prefer to handle maintenance yourself, we're happy to share several wash techniques with you. Regular upkeep is not only easy but also enjoyable, ensuring your car stays looking like new all year round.

*Vehicle must be left at our shop for 48 hours. This allows enough time for the job to be completed and to let the vehicle cure indoors for 24 hours per standard procedure, post coating application. This is mandatory to keep the vehicle protected from the outside elements while curing. This also allows us to triple check for possible high spots and safely remove during this 24 hour cure time.
